Dr. Lygia Nabors

Dr. Lygia Nabors is the founder and owner of Nabors Family & Cosmetic Dentistry and has proudly served the Fort Walton Beach community since opening her practice in 2013. With more than a decade of clinical experience, she is passionate about creating positive dental experiences and helping patients achieve lifelong oral health.

Dr. Nabors earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Florida in 2005 before continuing her education and obtaining a Master's Degree in Biomedical Science. She later earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2012.

While Dr. Nabors enjoys treating patients of all ages, she has a special passion for working with children and helping establish healthy habits that last a lifetime. Prior to opening her private practice, she provided dental care for pediatric patients at the Walton County Health Department, where she developed a deep appreciation for preventive and family-focused dentistry.

Known for her gentle chairside manner and patient-centered approach, Dr. Nabors is committed to making every visit comfortable and stress-free. She understands that many patients have anxiety about dental treatment due to past experiences, and she strives to build trust while delivering exceptional care in a welcoming environment.

Dr. Nabors maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Northwest Florida Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She is committed to continuing education and staying at the forefront of advancements in modern dentistry.

Outside the office, Dr. Nabors enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, exercising, and enjoying life on the water with family and friends.

Dr. Nabors' mission is simple: to treat every patient like family while providing the highest level of dental care in a comfortable, compassionate environment.
